Jeollanamdo Agricultural Research and Extension Services

The Jeollanam-do Agricultural Research and Extension Services is a direct organization established under the Jeollanam-do Provincial Government in charge of agricultural science and technology development, distribution, and guidance for agricultural development in “Jeollanam-do, the land of life and where youth return.” It has applied for protection and registered 177 new varieties of 25 crops, and has a large number of representative varieties such as rice (Saecheongmu), mung bean (Sanpo), kiwi (Haegeum), onion (Geumsongi), mushroom (Saeyan), and lettuce (Heukharang).

2. The flesh and skin are soft, so the texture is very good.
3. The cross-section of the fruit is a circle with angles, and the fruit placenta does not have a spicy taste.

1. It has strong resistance to anthracnose and round spot, and is cold-resistant.
2. It contains amino acids (2,540 mg/100 g).

Mung bean R.Korea_sanpo

1. It is a temporary maturing type.
2. It is easy to harvest with a combine.
3. The yield per 10a is 179 kg, which is 12% more.

Tea tree R.Korea, China, Europe_Sangnok

1. The first domestically bred crossbreed variety, strong disease resistance, moderate cold resistance.
2. High in vitamin C (272mg/100g) and catechin (11.2mg) content.
3. High yield (510kg/10a).

Rice R.Korea_Saecheongmoo

1. When cultivated in the regular season (transplanted on May 30), the heading date is August 15, making it a mid-late maturing variety.
2. It has a brown rice weight of 23.0 g and a round brown rice shape.
3. When cultivated in the regular season, there is no whiteness or dullness of rice, and the rice tastes excellent.

Cowpea R.Korea_Jangalchan

1. Semi-rigid upright type (48cm in height), can be harvested with a combine.
2. Light yellow seed coat, medium variety (14.1g/100 grains).
3. The yield is 185kg/10a (14% more than Okdang).

Lettuce R.Korea_ChungHaRang

1. It is a functional lettuce with 2.5 times the lactucin content.
2. It is used as a fermented raw material for immune-boosting products.

1. It is resistant to moisture.
2. It is a semi-upright type (43 cm in height), and can be harvested with a combine.
3. It has a reddish brown seed coat and is a neutral variety (16.4 g/100 grains).
