F&P was established in 2002 and has successfully performed domestic and international technology transfers by developing the latest (molecular) breeding source technology and developing molecular markers and seeds using it. Recently, it has successfully commercialized crop cultivation through large-scale desertification farming by opening overseas business sites and established a production base for new and renewable energy using it as a raw material. It is currently operating a domestic business site in Chungpyeong (including research institute and farm), a seed research complex (Cheongju, Gimje), a domestic experimental farm (Shinan, Jeollanam-do), and one overseas corporation (Mongolia - operating 3 farms). It has launched Hongguk through GMP production facilities and rapeseed oil through the pressing oil method of edible oil plants in Mongolia and Korea, and plans to commercialize buckwheat, honey, etc. F&P holds 55 domestic and international patents and is evaluated as a company with excellent technology that possesses cutting-edge agricultural technology competitiveness based on genetic engineering technology and traditional breeding technology.
